telling floral stories
with seasonal flourishes

Hi there, I’m Abigail.

I was raised in the Central Valley of California, and now make my home in San Diego with my husband and our two sweet children. As a floral designer, I create wedding and event designs that tell stories through color and texture, sourcing blooms from local farms and gardens whenever possible. As a floral educator, I invite students across North America into the world of local flowers, time-honored techniques, and the principles of thoughtful design, all while exploring romantic shapes and textures.

In my studio, flowers are treated as art, but my deepest hope is that when they reach your hands, they feel familiar and alive — like a gentle echo of gardens you’ve loved before.

This is the heart of Cottage Garden Florals: designs that still seem to belong to the garden, carrying its story, its fragrance, and its fleeting beauty.

“Anything we dreamt of, Cottage Garden Florals turned to life and in an even more magical way than we could have imagined!”

I arrange with curiosity, leaving space for flowers to surprise me — a wild tendril, a freckled petal, a burst of unexpected color. Each design is a detailed story, told with care, and meant to feel like rediscovering your favorite garden.
